We rise early today, break camp at Jed Smith and drive north into Oregon. In southern Oregon we are back in hazy forest fire smoke. By the time we reach Grants Pass where we stop for breakfast, the smoke has lessened. We stay in Corvallis, Oregon for the night so we can spend a few hours catching up with my cousin, R. It is good to see her after so many years.
