Basin Campground to Jackson WY

We move on today from Montana with the idea that it may be easier to find a campsite at Grand Teton NP on a Friday morning than on a Saturday morning. We drive south to Cody WY and then turn west up the very scenic Shoshone River Canyon. We enter Yellowstone NP as we drive over Sylvan Pass and turn along the northern and western shore of Yellowstone Lake.

Now we turn southward towards the Tetons with more spectacular views. We arrive in busy Jackson WY by late afternoon, check in at Super 8, shower and head out to get dinner at Rendezvous Bistro. We choose this restaurant because it is an easy walk from the motel. The food is excellent. O has trumpet mushrooms over fresh veggies in a pistou sauce. I order trout once again. Back at Super 8 I catch up a bit on my blog.
